Blizzcon 2008 Announced!!!

I attended the last Blizzcon and I must say I had a blast, admittedly I spent most of my time playing the Starcraft 2 beta, and man was it worth it! Blizzcon 2008 will be held at the same venue as last year, Anaheim Convention Center, located in Anaheim California, on October 10 and 11 (Friday and Saturday). Check below for a few reasons why you’ll want to drop $100 on a Blizzcon ticket, if you are remotely a fan of Blizzard games, trust me it’s worth it.
- Hands-on play time with upcoming Blizzard Entertainment releases
- Discussion panels with Blizzard Entertainment developers
- Competitive and casual tournaments for players to showcase their talents
- Areas and activities devoted to licensed products such as the World of Warcraft® Trading Card Game
- Costume, machinima, and character sound-alike contests with great prizes
- Commemorative merchandise based on the Blizzard Entertainment franchises
- A silent auction
- More exciting activities to be announced
Now if you do go, don’t make the same mistakes I did, plan ahead. The day before the event they allow you to pick up your tickets, go 2-3 hours early. I made this mistake, the line for ticket pickup was so long it stretched outside the building, there was all kinds of BO, the sad part was everyone got use to the smell and it became unnoticeable.
The tickets will go on sale in the next few weeks keep your eyes open these tickets sell out fast!
