Call of Duty 4 for Mac delayed

On June 2, 2008, Aspyr Media, a company based in Austin, Texas known for porting Windows games to the Mac OS platform, announced that Call of Duty 4 for Mac will be delayed until third quarter of 2008.

“Aspyr Studios has chosen to continue to spend more time in development with the title in order to ensure a high-quality gaming experience for Mac gamers.” stated on Aspyr’s official website.

Call of Duty 4 for Mac was originally scheduled to be released in May, 2008.

Call of Duty 4 is a military first person shooter set in modern times. Placing the player in a fictional war involving the United States, the United Kingdom and Russia. The latest iteration of Call of Duty differentiates itself from previous titles with the addition of RPG like reward system, as the player gains experience he unlocks more weapons and perks.
