Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D coming to the iPhone

Looks like another racing game is making it’s way to the iPhone, Crash Bandicoot, just like Cro-Mag Rally, the game makes use of the accelerometer for steering, and screen taps for jumping, but what isn’t apparent is how the kart speed is controlled.

The game is basically a clone of Mario Kart, normally I’m not a fan of clones, but this would be an exception. The odds of Nintendo ever bringing Mario Kart to the iPhone, when they have a hugely popular hand held of their own, DS, is about 0.000000000001%, your odds of winning the lottery would be better than waiting for Mario Kart for the iPhone.

No racing games for the iPhone so far have made any mention about multiplayer. If Crash Bandicoot can implement good multiplayer over WiFi or even cellular networks, that would really set Crash Bandicoot apart from all the other racing games that will soon flood the iTunes App Store.
