Wrath of the Lich King beta sign ups are open. Being the first to sign up for the WOTLK beta does not guarantee a spot in the beta, only the chance to participate, players will be chosen randomly. Players must have a World of Warcraft account in order to sign up. If you get any emails asking you to sign up for Beta be careful, instead you should follow the link to the official sign up page below.

For the Blizzcon ’07 attendees the beta keys given out at the event will most likely be for Starcraft 2, since WOTLK beta is only for WOW players, and Diablo 3 just recently announced more than a good year after Starcraft 2, it seems doubtful D3′s beta would be out before SC2′s.

Blizzard holds a convention each year for all the fans of their games, usually it’s held in Anaheim, California, in the fall. In the last Blizzcon beta keys were given out, but no one knew what game the beta keys were for, most thought it would be WOTLK since it seemed closest to being complete, but since WOTLK beta requires a WOW account, the beta key is most likely for SC2, thank god!
