Plain to see this person who shot the video didn't know the course very well.

Although the controls are OK, I'd still prefer on-screen controls. I don't think I'd care much for tilting the device back and forth and side to side. I'm really too used to hand controllers after hundreds of hours of Gran Turismo on the PS2 and about a hundred or so of Need For Speed on the PSP.

I don't expect the iPhone to compare to dedicated game machines, but I think using accelerometers to control cars is rather tiring. I'd be willing to bet developers could figure a way to have an analog control spot on the screen (similar to the little sliding button the PSP uses) that is controlled by either the left or right thumb. I find all that tilting rather disorienting since I've always been used to racing on a display that doesn't move.

Still I'd like to give the developer of this game a big hand for bringing some nice looking racing vehicles to the iPhone and iPod Touch platform.
