MMORPG Anrufen Online coming to iPhone
iPhone as a gaming platform is still young, but that’s not stopping some developers from dreaming big.
WiSTONE is currently developing Anrufen Online, a MMORPG, for the iPhone. Now this isn’t the first time a mobile developer has aspired to producing a mobile MMORPG, Kiki Technology made a similar announcement for their upcoming title, PanfobiA. Although many developers promise to deliver, most ambitious titles end up as vaporware.
WiSTONE’s Anrufen Online reminds me much of Diablo, with it’s isometric view, even one of the characters is named after blizzard in the above screenshot, hehe. The game centers around using summons for combat, very few details were given out about this game. If the game plays anything like Diablo’s point and click gameplay, then Anrufen Online will be right at home on the iPhone’s large touchscreen.
It’s also expected to be released on the Symbian OS. Hopefully they’ll allow both Symbian and iPhone owners to play together online.
No word as of when the iPhone version of Anrufen Online will be released.
