MotionX Poker gets hefty price cut, now only 99 cents
MotionX Poker by Fullpower Technologies was considered to be one of the best games at the launch of the App Store. The game truly was amazing, MotionX Poker was able to capture the attention of people that had little to no interest in games, due to its mesmerizing realism.
I had a lot of my co-workers try this game out, I didn’t want to spoil the surprise so I didn’t tell them what would happen and besides I wanted to take notes on their initial reactions for writings like this one, hehe. I just told them to blow on the screen and shake the iPhone, I know, the blowing on the screen part wasn’t necessary, but most of them did it anyways, haha. After shaking the iPhone they were in total disbelief about how realistic the dice rolled, before I knew it they were addicted, I had to use a little force to take my iPhone back.
With time one would only expect the games in the App Store to continually improve, which is exactly what has happened with games like Spore Origins and Star Wars The Force Unleashed raising the benchmark for iPhone gaming. MotionX Poker’s original price of $4.99 would make any iPhone gamer a bit hesitant about purchasing it when considering all the new great games available in the App Store. Fullpower Technologies made the right choice by dropping it to $0.99, now the question of whether the game is worth purchasing seems almost trivial, the price of the game is the same as a pack of gum, gum or MotionX Poker, take your time this could be a tough one.

This game rocks but what’s the deal with the price drop? Where’s the consolation for those of us who dropped $4.99 at introduction and have already completed all of the bonuses (all the dice and gems)?
It’s still a great game but lets get some new levels or bonuses to keep it interesting.
@RB – I don’t feel so bad about purchasing the game at $4.99, it’s only a 4 dollar difference. Now if I bought a new TV and then the price drops 200 dollars, yea I’d be an unhappy camper.
