Atari’s acrade classic ‘Missile Command’ comes to the iPhone

An age old classic, Missile Command (App Store), has been revamped with new graphics and ported to the iPhone. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of playing this game, I’ll brief you on it.

Your mission is to defend the cities by shooting down incoming fire from enemies such as floating satellites, moving UFOs and mother ships. Taking advantage of the iPhone’s multi-touch capabilities, you can now fire multiple shots at the same time from your missile station.

The initial response to Missile Command has been quite positive scoring 4½ stars based on 11 reviews.
