Freeverse Releases Tilt-Based Puzzle Game ‘Plank’ for the iPhone

Plank (App Store) by Freeverse, a tilt-based puzzle game with great visuals, has just hit the App Store, priced at $1.99.
Like many other puzzle games, the goal in Plank is to match 3 of the same shape, this is where the similarities end.
In a way you could view Plank as the reverse of Tetris, in Tetris you move the falling pieces and the ones that have already landed cannot be moved, in Plank you move the pieces that have already landed by shifting them to either side, but you cannot move falling pieces.
The higher the stacks the less time you’ll have to shift the pieces before they land, so try to keep the pieces as spread out as possible, nothing like induced heart attacks from the panic you’ll feel when you have a sky scraper in the middle of your puzzle set.
If you feel a heart attack coming on, shaking your iPhone or iPod touch this will drop the first row of pieces, you get 3 shakes from the get go.
Besides having great looking puzzle pieces from an aesthetic standpoint, they also allow colorblind players to enjoy the game as well.
Plank looks like an interesting puzzle game to say the least, and with the 2 dollar price tag it’s hard to resist.
