‘Armado’ a great looking 3D platform game for the iPhone

Tricky Software, known for developing Spore Origins, has just released Armado (AppStore) for the iPhone and iPod touch.
Platform games are nothing new to the iPhone, Toy Bot Diaries for example proved that side-scrolling platform games can play great. Now with the release of Armado, Tricky Software has taken platformers to the next level with its rich 3D environments.
In Armado you’ll roll to the top along a treacherous path filled with ants, logs, falling boulders, booby-traps, etc. You can jump to avoid obstacles or time a jump to land on enemies. The path of travel is fixed, there is very little lateral movement, you mainly control how fast you move forward or backward.
A great feature of Armado is the online leaderboards, which can be viewed in-game. You can easily publish your top scores with one simple touch. This single feature alone will add immensely to replay value.
