IUGO Tweaks ‘Zombie Attack!’ Gameplay in latest Update

IUGO has released an update for Zombie Attack! ($0.99) packed with tons of gameplay tweaks.
Now players will have the option of tilt or touchscreen controls, this is pretty substantial. After playing a good hour using the tilt controls, my arms felt a little sore, or perhaps my nerd arms just failed me. Regardless of my nerd arms, they welcome this change, now I can enjoy longer game sessions of Zombie Attack.
Where ever the player taps on the map, a virtual D-Pad will appear, just slide your finger in the direction you want your survivor to move. You can actually move the survivor continuously without lifting your finger. The new touchscreen controls will take some getting use to, it’s nice to be able to play in different positions, rather than sitting upright for every game.
Besides the control update, there’s a slew of gameplay tweaks, most notable is the Shack’s new Shockwave ability, which allows the Shack to wipe out any zombies close by, to activate Shockwave tap on the Shack, only 3 available per game, use them wisely.
We all know how frustrating it can be to watch a turret ignore a zombie attacking the Shack even when the zombie is within shooting range, thankfully IUGO updated the turret to prioritize targets focusing on Shack attackers first.
Another thorn in an otherwise awesome tower defense game, was the poor graphics performance in later stages, from my initial testing, the game plays much smoother after this latest update.
