The next ‘Metal Gear’ will be on the iPhone!

Kotaku was first to break the news about a mysterious splash screen at Kojima Productions website, shown above. Many thought the last symbol looked like the Xbox 360 power symbol. Metal Gear coming to the Xbox doesn’t sound too far fetched.

The next guesses were the iPhone, DSi and Wii since they all have “i” in their names. Turns out the “i” stood for iPhone, so get ready Metal Gear Solid fans, this is a great day to be an iPhone and iPod touch gamer!

Konami is just getting started, they already have 3 additional titles in the works for the iPhone and iPod touch.
