New Tower Defense game that will give you ‘The Creeps!’

The new tower defense game, The Creeps! ($1.99), has arrived in the App Store, available for both iPhone and iPod touch.
In The Creeps! monsters follow a predefined path, so you’ll need to adjust your strategy for each map to take advantage of key positions, such as U turns. There are obstacles occupying valuable land that could be used to build defenses, you’ll need to clear these obstacles first before you can build on them.
The obstacles add an interesting twist to tower defense, of course you want your guns always firing at incoming monsters, but as you build more defenses, space to build becomes scarce and you are faced with two choices, shoot down obstacles to make room for more defenses or focus on incoming monsters?
There is a good variety of defenses to play with such as beam, glue and boomerang. There are special defenses that can be used for a limited time, such as the spider defense, once activated players use the iPhone’s tilt controls to move the spider across the map, anything the spider touches gets covered in webs, slowing their movement.
One noticeable improvement over other TD games is how the glue gun intelligently targets monsters, if a monster was already slowed, then it would focus on another monster, rather than wasting precious shots on a monster that has already been slowed.
The developer quoted 10 levels in The Creeps!, but there is really only 5 unique levels, the rest of the levels are the same as the first 5 but with unlimited waves.
The game is currently on sale and will soon return to the regular price of $4.99.
There is no sound in this version of The Creeps! the developer has stated this feature will be added in a future update.
