With all the press focusing on the new features of iLife, iWork and iTunes going DRM free, it was easy to overlook a rather important piece of Mac gaming news, Feral Interactive will be porting Bioshock to Mac OS X!

At Feral Interactive’s Macworld Expo booth, the exhibitors were wearing shirts with Big Daddy on the back, Chris Holt of Macworld confirmed with exhibitors that Bioshock is in fact coming to the Mac.

Bioshock takes you on an epic adventure in the city of Rapture, an underwater utopia gone horribly wrong. The city of Rapture is an erie place, littered with dead bodies and disfigured citizens hell bent on gathering a precious material called ADAM. The gameplay of Bioshock is a mixture of two popular genres, FPS and RPG.

Mac gamers are in for a real treat once this title hits shelves, the game offers an atmospheric environment with fun gameplay and interesting story revealed to players through old tape recordings found throughout the city of Rapture.
