geoDefense is a tower defense game for the iPhone and iPod touch released back in February.
There are a lot of tower defense games available on the iPhone, but none quite like geoDefense. What really sets geoDefense apart is how different and challenging each level can be.
Each level has its own unique path for creeps to travel through. The series of creep waves is always changing from one level to the next. And the types of defenses you have at your disposal won’t always be the same. What you end up with is one puzzling tower defense game where you’ll need to really understand each defense in order to maximize its utility to win.
geoDefense plays much like other TD games, drag and drop to place towers, tap on towers to upgrade or sell. There’s also the option to change how towers are placed, you can show the placement just above your finger, or have the placement exactly where your finger is.
For graphics the game is full of eye candy, the game literally looks like a fireworks show, it’s fun to watch the creeps explode and the pond ripple animation that travels through the level upon explosion.
Playing through geoDefense, you’ll notice that the difficulty ramps up rather quickly, that’s what makes the game so exciting, it’s when you barely survive each level that keeps you coming back for more.
What makes geoDefense so fun is the great level design, each level brings its own unique challenges, keeping things fresh as you progress through the game. I’d highly recommend this game to any iPhone and iPod touch gamer.

This is a great game! Excellent visuals and sound.
My only complaint is the so-called “easy” levels are brutal! I wish they’d make the difficulty increase a bit more gradually, so you could get a better sense of how everything works and develop some sense of accomplishment.
As it is, it gets very frustrating very quickly.
Still, it’s an amazing piece of work!
The game did ramp up in difficulty pretty fast. Good to know I wasn’t the only one with this impression. Hopefully in a future update the developer will tweak the pacing of the game in terms of challenge so it’s more gradual.
Yea this is one awesome TD game, I’m currently playing Dungeon Defense, that’s a pretty interesting TD game too.
That is one great looking game with the fireworks-type display. Look like you could waste hours on a game like that.
