Microsoft’s Xbox strategy boss leaves to join Apple
Friday, May 1, 2009

MCV broke news that Microsoft’s Richard Teversham, Xbox Strategy boss, will be leaving the company for Apple.
Teversham had worked at Microsoft for over 15 years. He held the role of Xbox director for platform and marketing between 2005 and 2007 before becoming strategy boss.
He’ll be working at Apple’s European office, not many details were given about what he’ll do at Apple, only that his role will be education related.
Education related doesn’t sound all too exciting, but this could be a sign that Apple is taking gaming more seriously.
