Capcom releases ‘Resident Evil Degeneration’ for the iPhone

Capcom brings survival horror gaming to the iPhone and iPod touch with their latest release, Resident Evil Degeneration ($6.99).
Resident Evil Degeneration (RED) utilizes touchscreen taps to perform actions such as shoot, open doors and item pickup. Like other FPS titles currently available in the App Store RED uses a virtual D-Pad for movement, and tilt to reload.
Gamers familiar with the series will feel right at home with RED and enjoy some new iPhone specific features added to the game such as shaking your iPhone to shake off zombie attacks. Yes! Shaking your iPhone and screaming in public, awesome!
Update: As some of you may have already noticed, Resident Evil Degeneration has gone missing from the App Store. Capcom’s response about the missing game below.
Due to technical problems with the updated version, please be aware that “Resident Evil: Degeneration” is temporarily not available for purchase right now.
There is some issues that when user upload “Resident Evil: Degeneration” from old version to latest version, saved data is deleted automatically.
We are working diligently to fix the problems right now. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Update 2: Resident Evil Degeneration has finally made it back into the App Store.
