SEGA’s ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ dashes into the App Store

After SEGA’s successful App Store debut with Super Monkey Ball, pulling in a cool 2 million in its first month of sales, we thought we’d see a lot more of SEGA. Instead SEGA dropped off the radar for nearly a year, thankfully SEGA has come back to the App Store with their latest release, Sonic the Hedgehog ($5.99).
Even though the game is a straight port using the traditional D-Pad, it didn’t turn out so bad, due to the simplistic gameplay of Sonic. Where you can only move left or right and jump, so the controls are adequate for the task.
