EA’s ‘The Sims 3′ hits the App Store!

Yes the game we’ve all been waiting for The Sims 3 ($9.99) has finally hit the App Store.

I’ve only had a few minutes with the game, but so far I’m liking what I’m seeing. The Sims are highly customizable in terms of looks and even personality. The controls are working better than I had imagined, single finger swipes to pan, multi touch to rotate the camera and tapping on objects to interact with them.

This is actually the first Sims game I’ve ever played, so I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but I was delighted to see so much detail put into this game. But I did notice the game at times ran a bit sluggish, but I’m sure EA will smooth things out with a future update.
