New RPG for Mac OS X Two Worlds II Coming this Winter

The sequel of Two Worlds is in the works and due for release this winter and yes indeed it is in fact coming to Mac OS X. Another point scored for all the lonely Mac gamers of the world! The title of the sequel is uh ummm, Two Worlds II, yea I’m sure some marketing guru got paid buckets of cash to create that one, life can be so unfair.

If the cliché knights in heavy armor with badass swords didn’t already give it away, than I’ll go ahead and spell it out for ya, Two Worlds II is a role-playing game. The original was often compared to Oblivion due to its non-linear gameplay, where you were free to roam the environment and choose your quest. Details are pretty sparse at the moment, but it seems like a safe bet that we can expect the sequel to follow along the same lines as the original, but of course with much improved graphics.

PR Speak

‘Two Worlds II’ simply sets new technical benchmarks in the RPG genre, thanks not least to its seemingly unlimited number of dynamic light sources, micro-detail Parallax Mapping, 24 Bit HDR Post Processing, Space Ambient Occlusion and Human Eye Accommodation.

Our game is the most shiny and sparkly game you will ever play, give us your money.

In all seriousness the screenshots look real nice, but we all know how deceiving screenshots can be. Can’t wait to see this game in motion, that would make me a believer.
