Team 17′s Worms for the iPhone has been submitted to the App Store
MTV Multiplayer video game blogger, Russ Frushtick, recently had a chat with Team 17′s Martyn Browns about their upcoming iPhone title, Worms. Browns did confirm that Worms has been submitted to Apple for review. The game could appear in the App Store in the next few days or weeks, hopefully the former rather than the latter.
On the multiplayer front, Worms will support play over Internet and Bluetooth. Sadly these features won’t be included in the game’s initial release, but will eventually be added through future updates. In the meantime we’ll have to settle for pass-and-play to get our multiplayer fix, because we all know there’s nothing more satisfying than beating other people.
And just a side note for those new to pass-and-play mode. Don’t rub it in their face when they lose, remember they’re still holding your iPhone, play nice. Once the iPhone is back in your hands then by all means release your inner douche.
Update: Worms for iPhone is now available in the App Store, check out Worms for iPhone: First Hands-on Impressions for more details.
