Zombies & Me for iPhone Released: Stop Running You’ll Only Die Tired

Catering to price conscious gamers Electronic Arts has formed a new studio called 8lb Gorilla. The new studio is focused on producing games for the App Store with a more indie feel. Their expected development time per title will be one month, which may seem rather short by industry standards, but makes sense for their target market. By keeping development cost low Electronic Arts is able to pass on the savings to gamers, hence the $0.99 price tag on 8lb Gorilla’s first release, Zombies & Me.
The concept of the game is simple, keep the zombies away from granny’s house by using yourself as live bait. Of course you can’t run forever, eventually the zombies will surround you with their massive numbers. And at that point the last things you’ll hear is zombies having heated debates about which BBQ sauce taste best on humans. To avoid being smothered in zombie BBQ sauce you’ll need to lure them into impact zones to have them blown up to bits by incoming bombs.
