Freeverse Adopts Plus+ Network for Warpgate and Flick Fishing
Freeverse, one of the largest App Store publishers, has signed up with ngmoco’s game network Plus+. The first Freeverse titles to integrate the Plus+ network will be Warpgate and Flick Fishing with more titles to follow.
The Plus+ network helps gamers stay connected, allowing them to share their in-game achievements, compete in global leaderboards, stay in touch with friends through contact list and issue direct challenges. There are already a number of competing social game networks such as OpenFeint, Crystal, Gameloft Live, Scoreloop and Geocade. It’ll be interesting to see which social game network becomes the de facto standard.
