Yesterday, Digital Worlds released Gold Keeper (iTunes Link) for the iPhone, priced at $0.99.

In Gold Keeper you’ll play as the big red demon wielding a butcher knife, but this isn’t your classic evil demon vs heroic villager scenario, it’s actually quite the opposite. You, being the wise demon that you are, saved a truck load of gold over the years by following some sensible guidelines.

• Grocery Food: Don’t buy it unless you have a coupon
• Big ticket items: Never buy on credit, pay in cash only
• Save at least 10% or more of your income every month
• Diversify your stock investments

All those Sundays spent cutting out coupons from the newspaper have finally paid off and you can retire happily, or at least that was the case until the global recession hit. Now you have tons of jobless adventurers knocking at your door and they all want the same thing, your precious hard earned gold.
