Namco Releases BurgerTime Deluxe for Macs
BurgerTime first appeared in arcades in 1982, the game was quite popular and has since been ported multiple platforms. In BurgerTime Deluxe you’ll play as chef Peter Pepper. You started a new burger joint and business is booming, but just as you began to relax, your food came to life!
At first it didn’t seem like such a bad deal. Talking food could become a big attraction for the restaurant. So instead of hiding the talking food you begin showcasing them to the public.
Their initial debut is a huge success, from all over the world customers come to see your new attraction. Finally, all those years of hard work have paid off.
As you relax at the beach intent on living out your remaining years in complete bliss you recieve an urgent call from your employee. Customers are vanishing from your restaurant.
You return to the restaurant to investigate the mysterious events. To your dismay you find a trail of blood leading to the back room freezer. Inside you find the talking food and they’ve grown monsterously large, thanks to their new diet, humans!
You slam the freezer door shut horrified by what you’ve just witnessed. What was once your biggest restaurant attraction has now become your worst nightmare.
Armed with only a pepper shaker, you set out to put the evil talking food in their proper place, between a pair of burger buns.
