EA Releases Rock Band for iPhone

EA Mobile has released Rock Band [$9.99 - iTunes link] for the iPhone and iPod touch. Only one week has passed since we first mentioned Rock Band’s upcoming App Store debut, who would have thought Rock Band would appear so soon.

So on to the details, Rock Band includes twenty songs from popular bands such as Foo Fighters, Blink-182 and The Beastie Boys.

Once you’ve had your fill of the initial batch of songs you can purchase additional tracks from the in-game Music Store. Songs are sold in bundles of 2-track and 6-track, priced at $0.99 and $2.99, respectively.

Rock Band wouldn’t be Rock Band without the multiplayer. EA being well aware of this made sure to include support for multiplayer with up to four bandmates over WiFi or Bluetooth.
