The Simpsons Arcade Released for iPhone

Mr. Burns is up to no good as usual, Springfield’s social elites (and Krusty) gathered for a briefing on his sinister plans to steal Springfield’s hmmm uhhh, important natural resources, yea that sounds pretty good, something like that. The plans for “Project: Operation Mission” were stored on a USB flash drive and then placed into a donut. The group decides to entrust Waylon Smithers with donut.

Only moments after Waylon leaves the building he bumps into Homer and the donut goes flying into the air. Homer being Homer, can’t resist a good donut. With cat like reflexes he catches the donut, only to get punched in the face by Mayor Quimby, who snatches the donut from Homer and speeds off in a limousine. And so the story begins of Homer’s quest for that delicious top secret donut.

The Simpsons Arcade is a side-scrolling beat ‘em up game for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game is packed with over 25 levels spread across six environments such as Krusty Land, Channel 6, and Downtown Springfield.
