Starcraft II Beta Invite Emails sent to Media
StarcraftWire.net has received word that Blizzard has sent out Starcraft II Beta invite emails to select websites such as Kotaku and Cnet. The recipients were instructed to send Blizzard their Battle.net account names by June 19th. This coincides with Mike Morhaime’s comment during the Activision Blizzard conference call last month.
StarCraft II Q&A Batch 51 Posted!
Blizzard’s Starcraft II Community Manager, Karune, has posted another batch of Q&As for us to enjoy along with a video showing off the new death animations, such as burning hydras to a crisp.
Diablo III Bestiary Update: The Fallen Ones
Yup they’re back, The Fallen Ones are the latest addition to the official Diablo III bestiary. I still remember these guys from Diablo II, for the most part they were harmless, but when they had lightning enchant on them they were down right lethal. It’s good to see Blizzard bring back this goofy class of demons, it helps build contrast for the more grotesque demons found in the later stages of Diablo III.
Blizzcon 2009 Ticket Sales Reminder
I just wanted to remind everyone that Blizzcon 2009 ticket sales will start tomorrow, the convention will be held in Anaheim and each ticket will cost $125. There will be a queue system setup so no need to constantly refresh the webpage, thank goodness.

Opt-in for Blizzard’s upcoming Starcraft II Beta
The SystemCheck application will scan your hardware and report your system specs to Blizzard, this will ensure that a wide range of hardware configurations are tested in Beta. For additional information regarding the Beta Opt-in check out Bashiok’s post.
