Mark your calendars Blizzcon Tickets on Sale May 16th
Blizzard’s annual convention will be held on August 21 and 22 in Anaheim, California. A ticket to Blizzcon will cost $125. To avoid last year’s ticket sales disaster, Blizzard has setup a queue system to ensure the website isn’t overwhelmed by hordes of visitors.
Easter Egg found in Starcraft II Battle Report 2
There are two Easter Eggs in Blizzard’s recently released Battle Report 2, which showcases an epic Starcraft II match. The first Easter Egg shown 15 seconds into the video was spotted by PsiAmp a regular member of Gametrailers.com and the second Easter Egg at 5 seconds in was posted by Chulu of the Starcraft II Battle.net forums.
Starcraft II Battle Report 2 Released! (Almost)
Only the layout of the page could be viewed and the game transcript, the streaming and downloadable videos weren’t online yet. During the writing of this post, Blizzard has redirected all traffic from BR2 page to BR1. I know it sucks, but at least we know the release of BR2 is much closer than we had originally thought.
Blizzard Mobile Authenticator now available in the App Store
The Mobile Authenticator helps strengthen security for your Battle.net account and WOW accounts, which can also be merged with your Battle.net account. iPod touch users will need to have WiFi access for the initial setup process, after that Internet access will not be necessary to obtain future passwords from the app.
