Upcoming Modern Combat: Sandstorm Update to Add Multiplayer Support
Gameloft has submitted an update of their popular first-person shooter, Modern Combat: Sandstorm, to Apple for review. Normally we don’t post about game updates, but this one is quite substantial. Gameloft is adding multiplayer support to Modern Combat: Sandstorm, playable over both local Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Hang on, it gets even better, multiplayer will also be playable online!
Gameloft Celebrates Thanksgiving With Big Sale
Let’s be real, we do the same thing every year, stuff our faces until we can’t move. But hey just because you can’t move doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. What better time to enjoy some iPhone games. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Gameloft is having a big sale on many of their titles.
Gameloft Releases Rogue Planet for iPhone
Rogue Planet features 19 campaign missions and 15 skirmish maps, all 34 maps are playable via Quick Play mode. The game also features multiplayer mode, playable over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Support for online multiplayer over Wi-Fi or 3G is expected to be added in the next update *crosses fingers*.
Dungeon Hunter
Dungeon Hunter takes place in the Kingdom of Gothicus, once ruled by a fair and just monarchy until the evil Queen seized power by force. As the story goes, the Prince of Gothicus made plans for his marriage with his beloved. All the peasants, nobility and faeries came together to celebrate their wedding. But then his beloved was struck by a sudden illness and died on their wedding day.
Dungeon Hunter Released in the App Store
Gameloft’s Dungeon Hunter first surfaced in the App Store on September 17, but then mysteriously vanished, only to reappear 10 days later. Dungeon Hunter is an action role-playing game for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game is played from an isometric perspective and features 3D characters and environments.
